January is always an exciting month, and a time where we naturally focus on new beginnings. The name, in fact, comes from ‘Janus’, the Roman god for transitions, doorways, beginnings and endings. Janus is usually shown with two heads, one facing backwards and one forwards, so to cap off January, we thought we’d take a look back at 2022, and a look forward at the year to come!
For Eden Heights, 2022 was an exciting year, with lots of growth, achievements and developments. We were thrilled to welcome new clients to our agency, and to continue working with many who had partnered with us in the past.
Last year saw our portfolio grow to include beautiful new listings, across Nairobi and Kenya as a whole. From stunning, modern apartments to classic manor homes and prime-location land, we are honoured to be entrusted with these incredible properties.
In addition, Eden Heights also took on the property management of several premium locations, where we apply our hands-on, detail-oriented approach to ensure the highest of standards for tenants and property owners.
Of course, we also loved working with clients one-on-one to find the perfect rental or property for sale. One of the great joys of real estate is helping people find the perfect home, and we loved working with first time buyers, relocating expats, businesses in search of offices, investors and everyone in between.
For our staff, a very exciting development in 2022 was moving into our own new offices, found in Lavington Green Shopping Centre. It was a lovely chance to dive into some interior building works – with ourselves as the client! – and the whole team has enjoyed adding bits and pieces over time to reflect our welcoming approach and friendly style. This past year also saw Eden Heights partner with Mod to expand our marketing efforts. Specialising in digital and experiential marketing, we’re really excited to bring you a fresh new take on our social media profiles, so be sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn!
Finally, we are truly honoured to have been recognised with two awards in 2022. We were named the Best High-End Property Agency in 2022 by the Real Estate 100 Awards, and voted amongst the Top High End Property Management Brands in 2022 at the Top Star Brands Awards. We undertook streamlining and efficiency initiatives within all departments, and we’re thrilled to have our team’s hard work recognised. A massive thank you and congratulations to everyone at Eden Heights, whose dedication and passion is what makes us stand out!
As we now look forward to 2023, we’re excited for a range of new opportunities and projects. We are committed to continuing to offer the personal, responsive service that our clients have come to expect, even as we grow and expand. We’re looking forward to adding more properties to our management portfolio, and tackling new interior building projects to bring client visions to life. As always, we are constantly networking so that you benefit from our extensive connections in the real estate, construction and legal industries. We are also monitoring upcoming trends and emerging best practices, incorporating fresh ideas into our strategies for marketing homes and connecting renters with owners, and buyers with sellers. The year ahead is a bright one, with some additional new projects that we can’t wait to share.
